TEREA Purple Menthol is the Japanese berry menthol: a refreshing menthol with a rich blueberry aroma. There is no capsule to click; the blueberry and the cooling are there from the first puff. A carton of 10 packs (200 sticks) is AED 200, it works with IQOS ILUMA and ILUMA i, and Dubai orders usually arrive within 1 to 2 hours.

TEREA Purple Menthol flavour profile
Philip Morris Japan describes Purple Menthol as a refreshing menthol lifted by a rich blueberry aroma. The cooling sits at the standard “refreshing” level, below the strong-cooling Black range. It was one of the first TEREA flavours launched in Japan in 2021 and is still on the official list.
Taste
Tobacco with a blueberry note that stays steady through the session, since there is no capsule to change it.
Cooling
Refreshing, the standard menthol level in the Japanese range: clearly cool, but well below the Black flavours.
Aroma
Blueberry, which the official description calls rich and luxurious.
Purple Menthol or Black Purple Menthol?
Both carry the same blueberry character. TEREA Black Purple Menthol, added to the Japanese range in 2022, pairs it with a strong, colder menthol. Choose Purple Menthol if you want the berry flavour with a lighter cooling, and Black Purple Menthol if you want a stronger cold hit.
Purple TEREA from other origins
Purple-pack TEREA is made for several markets. Each market produces its own blend, so the berry note and cooling vary a little between origins. These are in stock now:
- TEREA Swiss Purple Wave: AED 160
- TEREA Purple Wave UAE: AED 200
- TEREA Purple Menthol Kazakhstan: AED 125
- TEREA Purple Wave Kyrgyzstan: AED 130
- TEREA Purple Wave Uzbekistan: AED 125
- TEREA Purple Wave Indonesia: AED 120
- TEREA Black Purple Indonesia: AED 120
Compare them all on the TEREA Purple page, or see the full TEREA Japan range.
Is Purple Menthol right for you?
Choose Purple Menthol if you want a berry menthol that is cool without being icy. If you want it colder, go for TEREA Black Purple Menthol. For menthol without fruit, try TEREA Menthol.
How to use TEREA Purple Menthol
- Take a stick from the pack and insert it into your ILUMA or ILUMA i holder. ILUMA i models start heating automatically as soon as the stick goes in.
- Wait for the device to vibrate. That is the signal it is ready.
- Each stick lasts up to 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first. On ILUMA i, FlexPuff may add up to 4 extra puffs depending on how you puff.
- When the session ends, remove the stick and throw it away. SMARTCORE INDUCTION heats from inside the stick, so there is no blade to clean.
Which devices it works with
TEREA sticks work only with SMARTCORE INDUCTION devices: the IQOS ILUMA i range (i One, i Standard and i Prime) and the earlier IQOS ILUMA models. They do not fit IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS Originals or other blade devices, which use HEETS.
